The national heritage-listed Grampians National Park is a unique and fragile environment, home to threatened native animals, one-third of Victoria’s flora, and the majority of Aboriginal rock art in Victoria.
To ensure the park's environmental and cultural values are protected, Parks Victoria regularly undertakes conservation programs, including animal and weed control, and fire management.
Over the past 25 years, the Grampians Ark program has coordinated large-scale predator control across government agencies, research institutions and the community to protect the biodiversity within the park, benefiting native wildlife and the local community.
