This video looks at many of the aspects of diversity which are often ignored, or looked over, and shows how diversity includes everyone (00:39).
Then follows an example of neurodiversity (00:53), a definition of neurodivirgent (01:25) and the well known, and documented, experience of Susan Boyle on Britain's Got Talent (01:40).
It then explores some of the known advantages of having a diverse workforce and why many employers now see the positive side of, and strength in, diversity (02:20).
Finally, the video shows areas where changes are being made in order to create an inclusive environment (03:20). These include: removing barriers which impede people with physical disabilities, encouraging and supporting a culture which is open to new ideas and ways of doing things, flexible and accommodating work practices, and the way we communicate with each other.
