A rewriting of the history of Allenheads, a small former lead mining village in Northumberland, via the deliberate misinterpretation of local landmarks. More history is written like this than you might like to think (though that's not really my point here).
I made this film during a week-long stint as an artist in residence at Allenheads Contemporary Arts (acart.org.uk) in June 2012. An article about my time there will be appearing in the Guardian on 17th November 2012. I bet you can hardly wait.
The score is by those good people at The Cabinet of Living Cinema (http://www.thecabinetoflivingcinema.org.uk).
With many thanks to Alan and Helen at ACA.
