Toronto zoo Address - 2000 Meadowvale Rd, Toronto, ON M1B 5K7
The Toronto Zoo is a zoo located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Encompassing 287 hectares (710 acres), the Toronto Zoo is the largest zoo in Canada. It is divided into seven zoogeographic regions: Indo-Malaya, Africa, Americas, Tundra Trek, Australasia, Eurasia, and the Canadian Domain. Some animals are displayed indoors in pavilions and outdoors in what would be their naturalistic environments, with viewing at many levels. It also has areas such as the Kids Zoo, Waterside Theatre, and Splash Island.
Its quite big and insanely beautiful, the ticket for one family(2 adults, 2 kids) is approximately 100 dollars for one day. My advice is you can never see and enjoy the place in one day esp with kids, so its highly advisable to buy yearly pass ,and you can visit the place as many times as you wish, and believe my words , its highly worth it, the yearly family pass is approx 200 $ with taxes (link below)https://www.torontozoo.com/tz/membership
The zoo is open all days in the year except 25th December. You can take your food and water bottles with you and can enjoy your snacks as there are so many picnic spots available to sit , eat and relax. Stroller is a must with young kids, otherwise you won't be able to manage. Its always better to divide the regions and cover only specific regions as per your plan in your one day visit , if you actually want to enjoy the place
Having said all this...go and explore the place , its damn beautiful
