There's a phenomenon in psychology known as the "Self-fulfilling prophecy".
As summarized in Wikipedia: "A self-fulfilling prophecy is a prediction that directly or indirectly causes itself to become true, by the very terms of the prophecy itself, due to positive feedback between belief and behavior".
Earl Nightingale, in his work titled "The Strangest Secret" put it best when he said, "We become what we think about".
In short, your thoughts and beliefs influence your behaviour.
So think about what it is that you want to achieve, and truly believe it. Your actions will follow.
If you follow the works of Jordan Peterson, you'll notice a similar theme in what he says. Your thoughts and beliefs are very powerful.
Choose them wisely.
